The Gala Group collaborated closely with writer and food review author, Dawn Stewart, to craft a refreshed brand identity and produce a distinctive restaurant guide available in both PDF and print formats, blending engaging text with rich, original photography.

To bring the vision to life, The Gala Group tapped into its robust network of creatives—partnering with photographer, Amanda Cureton, influencer models, local event planner and artist, a renowned cookie company, 360 photobooth, and standout chefs who mesmerized the party attendees with live demos. This collaborative effort culminated in a vibrant and memorable launch party that celebrated the spirit of the guide and brought together key voices from the culinary and creative communities.

Event Activations & Partnerships

The Gala Group Agency brought Dawn Stewart’s new book to life with an immersive and thoughtfully curated launch party that blended storytelling, culinary artistry, and community celebration. Held in the heart of St. Pete, the event welcomed a vibrant mix of influencers, local media, and close friends of the author, creating buzz that echoed across the city. From the moment guests arrived, they were treated to an experience that celebrated the essence of Dawn’s work and the rich culinary culture of the region.

The evening featured standout food experiences from celebrated local chefs, including Latin-inspired bites by Apululu Latin Street Food, and a show-stopping tablescape by the talented Chef Taimi and CWL Catering. Guests enjoyed live chef demos by Mr. Brugnoli84 and Benny C. Vaughan, a rotating photo booth from Party Flixers, and custom cocktails from Tipsy Daisy Mobile Bar. The ambiance was brought to life with thoughtful decor and coordination from Lucky Me Events, live restaurant-themed art illustrations by local artist Ezra Sembler Art, and sweet creations from The American Cookie Company. With incredible partners, talented chefs, and a guest list full of community champions, the launch felt like a true love letter to food, storytelling, and the people of St. Pete.
