The Blu Halo St. Pete
Opened on June 30, 2025, The Blu Halo St. Pete brings a sophisticated yet approachable take on American fine dining to Carillon Park’s new Echelon City Center.
To bring The Blu Halo’s grand opening dinner to life, The Gala Group Agency worked closely with the restaurant’s leadership team to craft a refined and memorable grand opening experience that reflected the brand’s elevated identity. From overseeing event logistics, managing guest lists,creating pre & post content and visual assets, to press coordination, and experiential details, the agency ensured every element embodied the sophistication and warmth of The Blu Halo’s American fine dining vision. Held on July 1st, 2025, the dinner marked a stunning debut at Carillon Park’s Echelon City Center, setting the tone for The Blu Halo’s presence in St. Petersburg, Florida.

Community Grand Opening
The Gala Group Agency partnered with The Blu Halo for an unforgettable weekend celebrating the grand opening of its St. Pete location. The official ribbon-cutting ceremony was joined by city officials, local media, and some of Tampa Bay’s favorite influencers—marking the beginning of many memorable moments for The Blu Halo at Echelon City Center.
The Gala Group Agency invited and welcomed Council Member Gabbard who shared special remarks on the exciting growth in the blossoming District 2 area. And we welcomed Council Member Givens for attending and showing support.
We partnered with The Blu Halo to deliver a vibrant and unforgettable grand opening weekend! Friday launched with a celebratory ribbon-cutting ceremony, complete with 20% off lunch favorites and mouthwatering passed appetizers. Saturday brought the debut of the exclusive Insider Loyalty Card, offering guests a first look at VIP perks and rewards. The weekend concluded in style with a soulful Sunday Jazz Brunch, featuring lively tunes and irresistible specials on mimosas and Bloody Marys.
The grand opening of The Blu Halo in St. Petersburg, Florida was a culinary success, drawing a dynamic mix of local media outlets and influential social media influencers, who helped amplify the restaurant’s debut across digital and traditional platforms. By strategically inviting prominent influencers and lifestyle journalists, The Blu Halo leveraged earned media and authentic online engagement driving online social media visibility and foot traffic. Through authentic and personalized content, ranging from curated drink and menu tastings to elevated ambiance moments, creators captured and shared the essence of The Blu Halo’s refined and inviting atmosphere. The presence of local media outlets and local micro and macro influencers, not only extended the restaurant’s reach to highly engaged audiences, but also positioned The Blu Halo as a must-visit culinary destination in St. Petersburg.

The Gala Group Agency played a pivotal role in shaping the brand experience for The Blu Halo’s grand opening through the creation and execution of polished, high-impact creative assets. From designing a sleek media kit that showcased Blu Halo’s culinary philosophy and visual identity, to crafting exclusive VIP invitations and coordinating a pre-launch photoshoot, every detail reflected the restaurant’s elevated vision. To generate buzz, the agency also created engaging social content and collaborated with a specialty designer to curate a luxurious gift box for media and influencers—featuring a custom Blu Halo martini glass and ingredients for their signature Cosmopolitan. A final touch included a beautifully designed thank you and recipe card, reinforcing Blu Halo’s commitment to detail, sophistication, and memorable experiences.

Clearwater Arts Alliance
The Gala Group Agency collaborated with Clearwater Arts Alliance non-profit to unveil the public art sculptures in Downtown Clearwater.
The Clearwater Sculpture Series, an initiative of the Clearwater Arts Alliance and funded by the Community Redevelopment Agency, celebrates the transformative power of art through bold, dynamic sculpture installations in Downtown Clearwater. These striking sculptures, created by local artists, infuse the city’s core with creativity, culture, and a renewed sense of community spirit.
The Gala Group Agency was honored to support this initiative through a thoughtful collaboration. From the beginning stages of cultivating a bold brand identity that tied closely with the CAA branding, to the interactive community unveiling, we helped shine a spotlight on the artists, the sculptures, and the powerful vision behind this great public art project.
The Gala Group Agency produced the branding for the Clearwater Sculpture Series, created social outreach posts, and designed the artist plaques that are installed with every sculpture!

Each work invites you to stop, reflect, and engage with your surroundings in a new way with an added interactive touch. The plaques were designed by the Gala Group Agency and installed by each sculpture - the design included the CAA Sculpture Series logo, name of the artist, title of the sculpture, and material, along with a QR code that leads to the artists’ website.

This family-friendly celebration brought the community together with a live jazz performance, interactive art activities for children, and engaging artist talks. Designed to inspire connection through culture, the event reflected the heart of the initiative.

Opened in August 2024, Moxy St. Pete is the city's new social playground, located in the heart of the eclectic EDGE District on Central Avenue. With 163 modern guest rooms, a buzzing lobby featuring Bar Moxy and Rose’s Coffee Bar, a content-creator podcast studio, and St. Pete’s first rooftop pool and nightlife experience, Sparrow Rooftop, Moxy brings bold design and lively energy to the vibrant St. Pete scene. Whether guests are visiting for business, leisure, or a little bit of both, Moxy St. Pete is where art, music, and adventure come alive.

As one of The Gala Group’s monthly PR & social clients, the agency was tasked with creating a standout summer event activation for Moxy St. Pete. The goal was low over head cost and high visility and social media potential, cut to the Pink Palm Pool Club series, which made a splash with a vibrant launch in June, and will be a continued series until September 2025. With strategic integration of media, influencers, and in-kind local partners, the launch event sold out and generated major buzz across the city and media and influencer coverage. The Moxy St. Pete Swim Series: Pink Palm Pool Club made a splash with impressive earned media coverage and influencer buzz across the Tampa Bay region. The event was featured in multimedia outlets including Tampa Bay Business & Wealth, I Love the Burg, Tampa Bay Times, and Tampa Bay Metro Magazine, along with digital promotion from DTSPFUN both before and after the event. Local visibility was amplified through a partnership with Visit St. Pete/Clearwater, multiple mentions on St. Pete radio and supportive coverage via the EDGE District’s website and social media channels. Taste Testers St. Pete
We developed a cohesive brand identity and executed a successful launch event for author Dawn Stewart’s restaurant guide, ensuring a memorable introduction to both media and community audiences.
The Gala Group collaborated closely with writer and food review author, Dawn Stewart, to craft a refreshed brand identity and produce a distinctive restaurant guide available in both PDF and print formats, blending engaging text with rich, original photography.
To bring the vision to life, The Gala Group tapped into its robust network of creatives—partnering with photographer, Amanda Cureton, influencer models, local event planner and artist, a renowned cookie company, 360 photobooth, and standout chefs who mesmerized the party attendees with live demos. This collaborative effort culminated in a vibrant and memorable launch party that celebrated the spirit of the guide and brought together key voices from the culinary and creative communities.
The Gala Group Agency brought Dawn Stewart’s new book to life with an immersive and thoughtfully curated launch party that blended storytelling, culinary artistry, and community celebration. Held in the heart of St. Pete, the event welcomed a vibrant mix of influencers, local media, and close friends of the author, creating buzz that echoed across the city. From the moment guests arrived, they were treated to an experience that celebrated the essence of Dawn’s work and the rich culinary culture of the region.
The evening featured standout food experiences from celebrated local chefs, including Latin-inspired bites by Apululu Latin Street Food, and a show-stopping tablescape by the talented Chef Taimi and CWL Catering. Guests enjoyed live chef demos by Mr. Brugnoli84 and Benny C. Vaughan, a rotating photo booth from Party Flixers, and custom cocktails from Tipsy Daisy Mobile Bar. The ambiance was brought to life with thoughtful decor and coordination from Lucky Me Events, live restaurant-themed art illustrations by local artist Ezra Sembler Art, and sweet creations from The American Cookie Company. With incredible partners, talented chefs, and a guest list full of community champions, the launch felt like a true love letter to food, storytelling, and the people of St. Pete.
